I’m disappointed in the “Lovable for serious projects” positioning. This tool is a one-shot app generator just like all the others. Kilo Code is positioned to do so much better.
Neither App Builder nor Cloud Agents take advantage of custom modes. These are the true power of Kilo Code and set it apart from the rest with respect to high quality outcomes. Kilo Code is missing a real opportunity to capitalize on this core feature in the cloud.
Please change your messaging around these products so that you don’t spend your reputational capital on non-differentiated offerings. And then get to work making both Cloud Agents and App Builder the industry leaders they could be by respecting my custom modes.
Strong positioning against Lovable by targeting the 'serious project' gap. The managed indexing + orchestrator mode integration is smart - that context continuty from prototype to production is exactly where low-code tools usually fall apart. I dunno if the pricing model will scale tho, paying per token for iteration-heavy UI work could get expensive fast compared to flat-rate competitors.
